Reverence [French, pronounced rev-eh-RAUNce]: The final curtsey or bow given by a dancer at the end of a ballet class to show respectful admiration for the teacher. The program features Kindra Showers and Patrick Rogan in the full-length ballet Slaughter on 10th Avenue, Madison Burgess in Swan Lake's Black Swan Pas de Deux and Amy Dykes in the "Rose Adagio" from Sleeping Beauty. The program will also include Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings and Vitali's Chaconne with accompaniment by the Livermore-Amador Symphony pit orchestra and featuring the winners of the 35th Competition for Young Musicians, Michelle Lee on violin and Cory Chang on piano.
